JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Sergio Garcia's bases loaded double helped the Suns re-take a lead and win their seventh consecutive game, a 5-2 victory over the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx in front of 6,848 fans Thursday at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

Garcia's hit, which landed a foot fair down the right field line, gave the Suns a 4-2 lead in the seventh inning. Tony Abreu followed with an RBI single, plating the final score off Diamond Jaxx reliever Jon Searles. Federico Baez (4-3) began the inning and earned the loss for West Tenn (70-45 overall, 26-20 second half).

The Suns (65-50, 27-18) led initially, when Carlos Alvarez chopped a hard single past drawn-in first baseman Brandon Sing, driving in Jon Weber in the fifth inning. Alvarez (3-0) earned the victory, despite allowing the tying and go-ahead runs with two outs in the seventh inning.

Following a leadoff walk to Dwaine Bacon by Suns starter William Juarez, the game was delayed one hour, 38 minutes because of rain. Juarez did not continue. Beltran Perez relieved him after the resumption and pitched four shutout innings. He has not allowed an unearned run in 14-1/3 innings.

Right-hander Joel Hanrahan (7-7, 5.18 ERA) is scheduled to face Diamond Jaxx righty Ricky Nolasco (11-2, 3.15) at 7:05 p.m. Friday at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
