Mobile, AL-- Take me out to the ballgame....The BayBears return home vs. the Montgomery Biscuits this weekend and the Fireworks start early with plenty of entertainment for the whole family.. Friday, August 13th a Replica of the NASA Space Shuttle Atlantis will be on Display. NASA officials will be on hand to showcase the 1:15 scale model of the Atlantis Space Shuttle. It is a self contained portable model and includes the four main elements of a shuttle:the orbiter, external tank and two solid rocket boosters. NASA will also present " The Future of Exploration" for kids of all ages in the Z-Technology Center starting at 6:15. Fans will be able to register for prizes from NASA throughout the night, including tickets to the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.

FINAL CHANCE TO CATCH BOB & LARRY AT THE BALLPARK - AUGUST 12

If you haven't had the chance to catch one of our first two Faith Nights this summer in Mobile, you need to make sure you check out the FINAL FAITH NIGHT OF THE YEAR, Friday, August 12th. Faith Night with the Mobile BayBears will feature:

* Pre-game concert with Christian recording artist Jason Morant at 5:15 p.m. on BayBear Mountain

* BayBears game vs. Montgomery Biscuits at 7:05 p.m.

* Opportunity to take pictures with Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato from VeggieTales

Tickets are just $10 and include the Concert and Box Seat for the game.

The homestand continues Saturday with a doubleheader starting at 6:05pm. The first game will be televised on CSS (Channel 37 Comcast.) Sunday bring your glove and baseball to play catch on the field before the game. Game time is 6:05pm. Play catch is from 5pm-5:30pm plus kids can run the bases after the game.
