Ganzak, Clarke, Morrison Called Up

WHEELING, W.Va. - The Wheeling Nailers, the 'AA' affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, announced today that Jordan Morrison, Aaron Clarke and Mitch Ganzak have been loaned to AHL teams.

Morrison, a seventh round 2004 NHL Entry Draft selection of the Pittsburgh Penguins was called-up to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. It is his second call-up to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season. He played four games with the Penguins earlier this season where he was able to record his first AHL assist against the Binghamton Senators on Jan. 16. He is currently fifth in the ECHL with 62 points (19G, 43A).

Clarke and Ganzak were loaned to the Albany River Rats. This call up is the fourth of the season for Clarke, who played seven games with Binghamton and three games with Providence. He scored one goal with Binghamton and one assist with Providence. He is currently the Nailers' fourth leading scorer with 37 points (11G, 26A).

Ganzak, the eighth highest scoring defenseman in the ECHL with 33 points, played in one AHL game this season with the Norfolk Admirals. He played in two AHL games last season with the Manitoba Moose.
