WHAT: ECHL REGULAR SEASON GAME

WHEN: Tuesday, December 6, 2016 @ 7:00 PM

WHERE: Glens Falls Civic Center - Glens Falls, NY

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: The Thunder take on a former divisional foe, the Norfolk Admirals, for the first time this season. Adirondack is coming off of a six game undefeated in regulation streak, which was ended on Saturday evening against Colorado, while the Admirals enter tonight's action with six straight losses, dating back to November 19 against Idaho.

BEHIND THE EIGHT BALL: Adirondack Thunder Captain Peter MacArthur extended his point streak to eight games on Saturday as found the back of the net in the third period. MacArthur's eight game scoring streak is longest active streak in the ECHL and the longest for the Thunder this season. MacArthur now ranks third on the Thunder with 14 points (7-7-14) through 17 games played.

DENNIS THE MENACE: Adirondack Thunder forward Dennis Kravchenko followed up his first career professional goal on Friday with another tally on Saturday, a second period marker to bring the Thunder to within one. Kravchenko is currently riding a three-game point streak, as he's found the scoresheet in each game since he returned from injury on Tuesday, November 29.

REINFORCEMENTS HAVE ARRIVED: Adirondack welcomes back forward Mikkel Aagaard and defenseman Keegan Kanzig in advance of tonight's action, both returning from Stockton in the AHL. Aagaard has nine points (4-5-9) in 11 games with the Thunder this season and netted his first career AHL goal on November 26 against Tuscon. Kanzig, who has appeared in nine games with the Thunder, also collected his first career AHL point, an assist, on November 30 against Charlotte.

CAPTAIN CRUNCH: Defenseman Mathieu Brodeur became the first Thunder player to appear in an AHL game this season on a professional tryout, as he signed with the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday. Brodeur leads all Thunder skaters with 13 assists and ranks third league-wide amongst defensemen with 17 points (4-13-17). The 6-6 defenseman appeared in two games with Syracuse over the weekend and amassed three shots on goal as well as 17 penalty minutes.

SHOTS THROUGH THE HEART: Saturday's game against Colorado featured a combined 83 shots on goal, the most in a Thunder game this season. Adirondack's 42 shots on goal are their most of the season, while the 41 shots allowed are the most they have allowed in a game on home ice. Colorado netminder Clarke Saunders turned aside 40 Adirondack attempts, the most saves by an opposing netminder this season.

TOM TOM: Adirondack netminder Tom McCollum made his Thunder debut over the weekend with a 1-1 record after he joined the team from the Stockton Heat. McCollum had previously appeared in one game with the Heat this season, where he picked up a victory. The Amherst, NY native has also played in three career NHL games with the Detroit Red Wings and was originally drafted in the first round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
