Eagles Sign Rookie Forward Kenny Brooks to Contract

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced Tuesday that they have signed forward Kenny Brooks to a standard player contract. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound winger played four seasons at Penn State University, posting 46 points in 117 games with the Nittany Lions. Brooks finished sixth on the team in scoring during his senior season, generating eight goals and 15 assists in 38 contests.

The 24 year-old began the 2016-17 season with the Atlanta Gladiators, registering two penalty minutes in one ECHL game. Brooks competed at the junior level with the Tri-City Storm of the USHL where he amassed 85 points in 165 contests, including 31 goals.

The Eagles return to action when they kick off a three-game set against the Idaho Steelheads at the Budweiser Events Center on Wednesday, December 7th at 7:05pm.
