PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Riverhounds (0-1-1) hit the road for their first away date of the season, facing the Charleston Battery (2-0-0) at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 8 at MUSC Health Stadium.

GAME NOTES

Coming off a close 1-0 defeat to FC Cincinnati this past weekend, that included being a man down for 50-plus minutes, the Hounds are still in search of their first win of 2017. This Saturday's tilt will present quite the challenge, as Pittsburgh has beaten Charleston only once in the past 14 head-to-head meetings between the two clubs (1-7-6) - a 2-0 victory at then Blackbaud Stadium in 2011.

For the Battery, they have opened the season with back-to-back victories and currently sit second in the Eastern Conference table. Last season saw the clubs meet twice, drawing 1-1 at MUSC Health Stadium in April then Charleston prevailing 2-1 at Highmark Stadium in June.
