FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution (3-2-2, 11 pts.) are back at Gillette Stadium on Saturday to play Western Conference leaders Sporting Kansas City (5-1-2, 17 pts.). The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised locally on myTV38 (WSBK-TV) with Brad Feldman, Paul Mariner, and Naoko Funayama on the call. The contest also airs on the radio with 98.5 The Sports Hub HD2 broadcasting the action in English, and WMVX 1570 AM Nossa Radio providing Portuguese commentary. Fans may also stream the match live on Revolutionsoccer.net.

Saturday's match will be the only regular season matchup between the Revs and Sporting. The home side has claimed victories in six of the clubs' last seven meetings, with New England capturing a road victory on Aug. 26, 2014. Kansas City emerged victorious in the most recent matchup, 3-1, on Sept. 16, 2017 at Children's Mercy Park.

Following Saturday's match, New England will face its first repeat opponent of the 2018 MLS regular season, the Montreal Impact. That match will be contested at Stade Saputo on Saturday, May 5 at 1:00 p.m. ET, where it will be broadcast locally on NBC Sports Boston, 98.5 The Sports Hub, and WMVX 1570 AM Nossa Radio.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR

The Revolution tallying at least two goals for the sixth time through the first eight matches. The club is 3-0-2 when scoring at least two goals this season.

The Revs remaining undefeated in 2018 when either forward Teal Bunbury (2-0-1) or midfielder Diego Fagundez (2-0-1) score a goal.

Forward Teal Bunbury finding the net for the fourth time in the club's last five games. Bunbury has scored in three-of-four games dating back to March 31 at Houston.

Forward Cristian Penilla recording one primary assist to give him five on the season. The Ecuadorian attacker enters the week tied for the MLS lead in primary assists with four.

There are a few notable connections between the Revolution and Sporting Kansas City:

o Forward Teal Bunbury was selected by Kansas City with the fourth pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft. He played four seasons for the Wizards/ SKC from 2010-2013, registering 19 goals and seven assists in 89 regular season appearances. His father, Alex Bunbury, also played for the Wizards from 1999-2000.

o Forward Krisztián Németh played one season for Sporting Kansas City in 2015. He submitted 10 goals, including the 2015 AT&T Goal of the Year, and six assists in 28 regular season appearances.

o Defender Jalil Anibaba also played one season for Sporting Kansas City in 2015. The defender played 1,265 minutes across 16 regular season appearances, tallying one goal and four assists.

o Sporting Kansas City defender Seth Sinovic was selected by the Revolution in the second round of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft. He made 20 appearances, including 18 starts, in his lone campaign with New England.
