The Ice Flyers and the Fayetteville FireAntz are set to do battle again in the Hangar. Last night the Ice Flyers won 5-3 on goals from Ryan Salvis, Tyler Soehner, Jeff Sapieha, and a pair from Adam Kuhn. The Ice Flyers now hold a 2-0 edge in the season series.

The Ice Flyers are still 4th in the SPHL standings with 58 points and their lead over the Mississippi Surge is still one point. Fayetteville is in 9th with 35 points. The Ice Flyers home record stands at 14-8-1 while the Antz are only 7-16-3 on the road.

PENSACOLA - The Ice Flyers are 7-1-1 in their last 9 games. Corey Milan's overall record now stands at 10-11-4 with a 3.27 goals against average and a 0.880 save percentage. With the Ice Flyers, he is 6-5-2 with a 2.66 GAA and a 0.902 SV%. Jesse Kallechy's overall record stands at 10-8-2 with a 3.06 GAA and a 0.908 SV%. With the Ice Flyers he is 4-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and a 0.968 SV%. Chris Wilson's 51 points and 28 goals lead the team. Jordan Chong leads the team in assists with 31.

Chris Leveille leads the team with 59 points, 21 goals, and 38 assists.

Fayetteville's power play is 5th best in the league at 17.37%, scoring 33 times on the power play. They have, however, allowed 9 shorthanded goals which is tied for most in the league. Their penalty kill is dead last in the SPHL at 77.27% having given up a league high 55 power play goals against. They have managed to score 5 shorthanded goals.

Fayetteville's weekend is over and their next game is Thursday against the Knoxville Ice Bears.
