The Erie SeaWolves return to The Diamond for game two of the three game series against the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants)....The SeaWolves shutout the Squirrels 2-0 to give them their 10th shutout win of the season...Alex Faedo picked up his first AA win after pitching seven scoreless innings and walking just one batter with three hits...John Schreiber shoved a scoreless 9th inning to earn his 11th save in 2018....Danny Woodrow scored both Erie runs in the win, going 2-for-4 with a stolen base....Daz Cameron knocked in his 23rd RBI on a single in the 6th inning....Sergio Alcantara has racked up a .395 average over the last ten games for the SeaWolves and a .476 average over the last five....Erie inched a game closer in the playoff race and are now only 5.5 games out of a playoff spot behind second place Altoona......Erie will send Liarvis Breto to the mound tonight to make his fifth start of the season for the SeaWolves...The lefty threw a season-high 6.0 IP in his most recent outing, surrendering three runs on eight hits while striking out five in the eventual 10-2 loss to the Altoona Curve....Breto has recorded a 1-1 record and sports a 1.98 ERA on the road.......Jake McCasland makes his 6th start of the season and his first against Erie...McCasland pitched 6.0 IP and only allowed one run on seven hits in his last outing against Trenton.
