BINGHAMTON BATS BIG IN SERIES OPENER: Six Rumble Ponies had multi-hit games - four with at least three hits - in Binghamton's 16-2 rout of Portland Monday night at NYSEG Stadium. Justin Dunn won his third straight start by tossing six innings, while the Rumble Ponies collected 20 hits for the second time this season. The Rumble Ponies victory snaps a four-game losing streak.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Mickey Jannis gets the ball in game one, his 15th Eastern League start of the season. Despite lasting seven innings, Jannis was slapped with the loss on July 12 at Akron. He did not allow a run after the first inning, striking out five without a walk. This is the knuckleballer's second time seeing Portland, first at home.

RECORD-SETTING NIGHT: Binghamton set a season-high in runs (16), margin of victory (14), total bases (36), and home runs (4) in Monday's win against Portland. It's the Ponies second time with at least 20 hits in a game this season (May. 17 @ New Hampshire -21) and first time scoring at least 10 runs since June 25.

TEBOW'S HITTING STREAK: Tim Tebow tied a career-best, extending his hitting streak to 12 games with a single on Monday. Tebow collected a 12-game hitting streak with St. Lucie (High-A) during the 2017 season.

GLOVE LOVE: For the first time in five games, the Rumble Ponies did not commit and error.

JOIN THE CLUB: Joey Terdoslavich and Jhoan Urena each collected four hits in Monday's win. They join Jeff McNeil and Levi Michael as the only Rumble Ponies with four-hit performances this season. Michael completed his just one day prior to Terdoslavich and Urena.

POWER PONIES: Binghamton hit a season-best four home runs on Monday, including three in the sixth inning. The Rumble Ponies have hit three home runs in a game nine times this season.

SIXTH INNING SPECIAL: Binghamton got longballs from Tomas Nido, Champ Stuart, and Levi Michael during Monday's sixth inning. The last time Binghamton hit three home runs in an inning came back on May 7, 2017 at New Hampshire (Dale Burdick - 2x, Jio Mier - grand slam).

TRIPLE DOUBLE: Binghamton is the only team to have at least 10 wins against multiple opponents this season. They have 12 wins against Erie and 10 each versus New Hampshire and Portland.

MICK MAKING HIS MARK: RHP Mickey Jannis is slated to make his 61st career Binghamton start, third-most in franchise history.

UP NEXT: Binghamton and Portland wrap up their four-game series on Wednesday afternoon. RHP Scott Copeland gets the ball against Sea Dogs RHP Mike Shawaryn with first pitch at NYSEG Stadium scheduled for 1:05 PM.
