History:

Teams will meet for the third time of the 2023-34 season and for the first time in the regular season.

11/24/23: The Rip City Remix defeated the Salt Lake City Stars 113-110 at Chiles Center in Portland in the showcase cup.

11/26/23: The Remix fell to the Stars 102-89 at Chiles Center in Portland for the second match up during the showcase cup.

Game notes:

NEW YEAR, NEW PLAYER: The Rip City Remix signed guard Kevion Nolan to the roster on Jan. 1 from the player pool. The Alabama native played the last three seasons at Jacksonville University in Florida. Nolan had a brief stint with the Birmingham Squadron before being waived at the beginning of the 2023 season.

OVERTIME THRILLER: T he Remix defeated the Delaware Blue Coats in the franchise's first ever overtime game on Dec. 30. Terence Davis landed a three-point shot to reach the target score of 126.

NEW BEGINNINGS:

The Remix are playing in their inaugural season in the North Portland Community. The team was initiated only nine months prior to the first game, the fastest roll out ever in the history of the G League.

BLOCK PARTY: Rip City Remix led the league with 130 total blocks through the showcase cup. Ibou Badji contributed with the second most total blocks (44 blk) and ranked fifth in blocks per game (2.7 BPG).

Rip City defeated Delaware in their first ever overtime, 126-122 ... Kris Murray led the team for the second straight game with 22 points, seven rebounds and two steals ... George Conditt contributed with a double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds, five blocks) ... Seven players for the Remix (including all starters) scored in double-figures.

RIP CITY REMIX at STOCKTON KINGS ... DEC. 28, 2023 ... GAME #1 (AWAY #1)

In the first game of the regular season, the Remix fell to the Kings 111-106, despite coming back from a 16 point deficit in the first half. Kris Murray led the team with 24 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block, including 19 points in the second half ... Five Remix players scored in double-figures.

RIP CITY REMIX VS. RIO GRANDE VALLEY VIPERS ... DEC. 21, 2023 ... SHOWCASE #16 (AWAY #9)

The Rip City Remix started the game on a 20-2 run, keeping the Vipers from scoring a field goal for the first seven minutes of game play ... Terence Davis led the team in scoring for the second straight game with 25 points ... Justin Minaya earned a double-double with 15 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists and two steals ... Team combined for 17 blocks ... Final score: Remix 117, Vipers 103.

RIP CITY REMIX vs BIRMINGHAM SQUADRON ... DEC. 19, 2023 ... SHOWCASE #15 (HOME #8)

The Rip City Remix fell to the Squadron 116-109 during their first game of the Winter Showcase event... Terence Davis went 10-13 from behind the arc to lead the team with 38 points and five rebounds ... Ashton Hagans earned his 2nd double-double of the season (16 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds).
