TEAM NOTES
With the win, the Union moved into fifth place in the Eastern Conference and above the playoff line, pending the outcome of tonight's Impact-Real Salt Lake match.
The victory was the Union's fourth road win of the campaign, their most in a single season since 2014 ... the Union have won three of their last four road contests, achieving that feat for the second time in club history and for the first time since May 14, 2014-June 28, 2014 ... that stretch was also punctuated by a win at New England.
Jack Elliott's brace was the first two-goal game of his professional career as well as the first-ever two-goal performance by a Union defender in a regular-season game.
The Union return home to Talen Energy Stadium for their next regular-season game vs. New York City FC on Saturday, August 18 (7:00 p.m. ET / PHL17).
