THE RESULT:

- Moved Houston's season record to 7-10-6 on the year and 1-6-4 on the road.

- Dropped the Dynamo's all-time record against Columbus to 6-8-10 all-time and 1-7-4 in Ohio.

TEAM NOTES:

- The Dynamo used their 23rd different starting lineup this season and continued their streak of using a different lineup combination in every game this year. Since head coach Wilmer Cabrera took over prior to the 2017 season, the Dynamo have now used 55 different lineups in 57 matches.

- Houston and Columbus were tied 0-0 at intermission. It was the 11th game this season in which the Dynamo were tied with their opponents at the break, and Houston is now 2-6-3 in those matches.

- The Dynamo and Columbus each had 13 shots in the match. It was the third game this season in which Houston and their opponent were level on shots. Houston has outshot its opponent in 13 of their 23 games so far this season.

- Columbus had the majority of possession in the game, holding the ball for 57.7 percent of the contest. It was the 16th game this year in which the Dynamo had less of the ball than their opponent.

- MF Boniek García made his 13th start and 20th appearance of the year. For his career, it was his 129th start and 160th appearance in MLS regular-season play.

- With tonight's appearance, García has now played in at least 20 games in each of the last six seasons.

- DF Kevin Garcia made his 10th career appearance in MLS regular-season play and his seventh of the year when he came on for DF Leonardo in the 90th minute.

- DF Leonardo made his 15th start of the season and his 44th start in league play for the Dynamo.

- DF Adam Lundkvist made his eighth start of the season and appeared in his 11th MLS game tonight.

- DF Adolfo Machado made his 50th appearance in Major League Soccer and his 49th start. For the season, it was his 16th start and 17th appearance.

- FW Mauro Manotas made his 54th career start and appeared in his 86th career game.

- MF Tomás Martínez made his 26th career start and will play in his 31st MLS game.

- FW Ronaldo Peña made his second consecutive appearance when he came on for FW Romell Quioto in the 65th minute.

- FW Romell Quioto made his 18th start of the season and the 32nd of his MLS career.

- Quioto appeared in his 23rd game of the year, which surpassed his appearance total from the 2017 season.

- MF Memo Rodriguez made his 23rd career appearance and his 14th of the season when he came on for MF Tomás Martínez in the 78th minute.

- DF Jared Watts made his sixth start of the season and the 67th of his career.

- DF Andrew Wenger made his 14th start of the season and his 15th appearance of the year.

- GK Joe Willis made his 75th career start in MLS regular-season play and his 53rd with the Dynamo.
