The Lowdown:
This is the only time this season that the Everett Silvertips and the Regina Pats will meet in the 2010-11 season. They met once last season in Everett with the Pats winning 4-2, the last time these two hooked up at the Brandt Centre was on November 8th 2008 in a 4-1 Silvertips win. This is the second last game the Pats will play at home before the Christmas break and the last time Pats fans will see Carter Ashton before he heads to Canada's National Junior team selection camp.
A few 'tips:
This is Everett's third game of their 6 game trip through the East Division. The first two games saw them win 6-0 in Swift Current Friday night, then get shutout 4-0 24 hours later in Moose Jaw. Everett is currently in 10th spot in a very competitive Western Conference race, but trail 2nd by just 6 points. They have the 21st ranked power play and 15th ranked penalty kill. Scoring goals have been a problem as they are last in the WHL in goals for with 75.
