This is the third of 8 meetings between the Brandon Wheat Kings and the Regina Pats. The last time these two teams met, it was a wild one in Brandon. The Wheatties held a 7-4 lead halfway through the third period, only to see the Pats score 4 straight times to send the game to overtime. Colby Robak ended the Pats Cinderella nigh by scoring the o/t winner. Jordan Eberle was named the game's 1st star with 2 goals and 5 assists.
The first game was early in the first weekend of the season. Andrew Hayes stole the show with a 25 save shutout in a 2-0 Brandon win. The Pats were still without Colten Teubert, Matt Delahey and Jordan Eberle but Damien Ketlo was solid between the pipes himself stopping 32 Brandon shots.

16's to the World U-17's:
A pair of 16 year old defencemen will be heading off to the World U-17 Hockey Challenge in Timmins, Ontario over the holiday season. Myles Bell will play for Team Pacific (BC, AB) and Tyler Borstmayer will take to the ice for Team West (SK, MB). Last season Dominick Favreau played for team West, while Jordan Weal played for team Pacific.
NHL Central Scouting:
NHL Central Scouting Bureau (CSB) announced their fall rankings for the CHL, and there were 2 Regina Pats in the top 25 in the WHL. Jordan Weal was the 10th ranked skater, while defenceman, Brandon Davidson was the 22nd ranked skater.
Off to World Jr. Training Camp:
For the second straight year, Jordan Eberle and Colten Teubert have been named to Canada's World Junior training camp roster. Both played on Canada's gold medal winning team last year in Ottawa.
