THE GREAT LAZARITO: Lazaro Armenteros hit his first home run as a Snapper in just his 7th at-bat with the club on 5/8 vs. GL. Armenteros went 1-5 with 2 R, 2B, and a sac fly in the 8th inning on 5/7 vs. GL in his full season debut.

JESUS OUR SAVIOR: Snappers infielder Jesus Lopez has been a major difference in two of the last three games for the Snappers. 5/6 @LC he roped a two-run double in the 2nd inning, the Snappers only runs as they won 2-1 over the Captains. Then Monday 5/7 vs. GL, Lopez belted a three-run home run in the 8th to complete the Snappers six-run inning and put the Snappers on top at the time 7-5.

FAR, FARRAR AWAY: Snappers outfielder Logan Farrar is currently on a 7 game hitting streak that began 5/1 @ FW. Farrar is hitting .300-1-4 (9-30, 2 2B, BB, 6 K) in the streak. After batting .059 (1-17) in first 4 games, In his last 18 G Farrar is batting .288-3-13 (21-73, 10 R, 5 2B, 2 3B, 3 BB, 9 K).

MEGGS!.. MEGGS!!!: Snappers outfielder Jack Meggs went 3-for-4 with 2 R, HR, and 2 RBI Saturday night (5/6 @ LC). It was the first multi-hit performance of the season for Meggs, and his first 3-hit game since 7/7/17 with Vermont against the Lowell Spinners. In his last 6 G, Meggs is batting .269-1-7 (7-26, 5 R, 2 2B, BB, 4 K) as apposed to starting the season in first 9 Gat .125-0-2 (3-24, 4 R, 2B, 2 RBI, 6 K).

EXTRA EXTRA: With 3 EBH last night, the Snappers have now had an extra-base hit in their last 13 games since 4/23 vs. PEO. In the span, the Snappers have hit 25 2B, 5 3B, 5 HR

EXTRAS AND HOMERS: In 26G this season, the Snappers have the fewest HR (9) in the MWL, and have homered in and won last two games, after not winning a game in which the homered in 5 times prior. Also, the Snappers are 3-0 in extra inning games at Pohlman Field, while they are 0-2 on the road in extra inning affairs.

LOEHR ABOVE ALL: Snappers INF Trace Loehr has hit safely in 18 of 23 games this season. Loehr sent the Snappers to a walk-off victory with a single in the 12th inning on 5/7 vs. GL. He hit his first home run of the season on 4/21 @ CLI, a two-run shot that gave the Snappers a 3-1 lead at the time. Loehr began his season with a 4 G hitting streak from 4/5 vs. WIS - 4/10 @ BUR, hit .429-0-1, 2 R, 2B in that time and registered his 300th minor league hit on 4/13 @ KC.
