
Game 1 of Doubleheader Moved to 5:30 P.M.

HARLINGEN - Game 1 of Thursday's North American League South doubleheader between the first-place Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings and the second-place San Angelo Colts at Harlingen Field has been pushed back to 5:30 p.m. due to rain.
The game was originally slated to start at 10:35 a.m. The regularly scheduled 7:05 p.m. game will follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1. Both games will feature the Thirsty Thursday promotion, when fans can purchase draft beers and cans of soda for $1 as well as bottles of beer and soda for $2 each. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
Fans with tickets to Thursday morning's game can exchange them for tickets to any WhiteWings home game during the 2011 regular season.
Right-handers Eric Blackwell (2-1, 2.66) and Luis Chirinos (2-0, 0.00) are expected to face left-hander Logan Williamson (3-0, 4.36) and right-hander Chandler Barnard (3-1, 4.50).
