
Galaxy to host Korean Heritage Night

CARSON, CA (Wednesday, July 5, 2006) - The Los Angeles Galaxy will host a press event on Thursday, July 6 at 11:00 a.m. at The Home Depot Center to preview the team's Korean Heritage Night on July 8. Galaxy President & General Manager Alexi Lalas, Kwon Kim of the Korean World Cup Cheering Committee and Maureen O'Crowley from the Korean National Tourism Organization will be in attendance and address the media at the Southeast corner of the Home Depot Center concourse.
Master Kim of the Do San Tae Kwan Do Gym will perform a martial arts demonstration and music will be provided by the Kim Dong Seok Sa Mul Nori Team.
The Galaxy is proud to celebrate Korean Heritage Night on July 8 in conjunction with the Korea Times, the Korean World Cup Cheering Committee and the Korean National Tourism Organization. The July 8 festivities will include a special pre-game soccer match at 6:00 p.m. featuring a team made up of members of the Los Angeles Korean community against a team from Tijuana, Mexico. There will also be a designated cheering section featuring "Red Devil" supporters and performances from Master Kim and the Kim Dong Seok Sa Mul Nori Team.
