
G-Braves and Rays Postponed

Mississippi Braves News Release
GREENVILLE, SC -- Friday night's scheduled Southern League baseball game between the Greenville Braves and Orlando Rays was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday evening starting at 6:15. In game one, Rays' righthander Doug Waechter (5-3; 3.80) will get the start against lefthander Chris Waters (1-0; 3.18) for the G-Braves. Game two will feature a pair of righthanders in Orlando's Matt White (0-1; 5.40) and the G-Braves' Adam Wainwright (4-2; 2.69).
Saturday night's promotion is Andruw Jones bobble head doll sponsored by Wedgy's Pizza and WROQ Rock 101 FM. The first 1,000 fans will receive a free bobble head doll. Between games will be a spectacular fireworks display, and Birdzerk will entertain the crowd all evening long.
