Gemoll Wins Homerun Hero Award for May

Huntsville, AL – Huntsville Stars first baseman Brandon Gemoll will receive Old Navy's Homerun Hero Award for the month of May in a special pre-game ceremony at Joe Davis Stadium on Sunday, June 22, 2003. Gemoll hit six homers during the month of May, tops for the Stars. . The Old Navy Homerun Hero Award honors Minor League Baseball's rising stars. In its second year, the program tracks the top 15 Minor League Homerun hitters throughout the season, concluding with the top hitter winning both the award and a $100 Old Navy gift card. Fans can to root for their hometown heroes by tracking the top batters at www.minorleaguebaseball.com and www.oldnavy.com.
