G-Braves & Kipper Tool Host Supply Drive Monday

The Gwinnett Braves and Kipper Tool will host a supply drive for the troops on Flag Day, Monday, June 14th, in conjunction with the team's contest vs. the Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays) at 7:05 p.m. Volunteers will collect the items outside of the stadium's main entrance. Fans that donate to the drive will receive a voucher good for half-off an Adult Field Box ticket to the Heroes of the Diamond game and fireworks show on July 3rd at 7:05 p.m. at Coolray Field. Items requested include:

Sun Tan Lotion Baby Wipes Waterless Hand Cleanser

Packs of Tissues Envelopes, Cards and Stationary Pens Pre-Paid Phone Cards Trail Mix or Nuts of Any Kind Tuna Fish in Pouches

Hard Crackers Crystal Light On-the-Go Pouches M&M's

Other Flag Day festivities include recognition of all Veterans of Foreign Wars with discounted tickets and giveaways and a birthday cake to celebrate the Army's birthday. Local Veterans of Foreign Wars will also distribute poppies to fans to represent the sacrifices made by all American service members.
