Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The sixth-place IronPigs (23-37) play the finale of a four-game series (and of an eight-game homestand) against the Toledo Mud Hens (34-26) -- the Tigers' top affiliate. In getting swept in a doubleheader yesterday (4-3, 2-1), the 'Pigs snapped their season-high, three-game winning streak and have fallen to 3-4 on the homestand. Although they've dropped 10 of their last 15 contests, the 'Pigs are still 5-4 in their last nine affairs... Toledo snapped its three game skid to Lehigh Valley and has swept both the twin bills against the Pigs. The Mud Hens are 16-9 in their last 25 games -- improving from 18-18 on May 14... The Pigs next start a four-game series at Buffalo on Saturday...

First-Pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m. for Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Service Electric Cable TV & Communications.

Last Laugh!: LHV is 9-5 in series finales (one suspended; one postponed)... and just 14-32 in all other games.
