INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, defeated the Evansville IceMen 3-0 on Friday at Indiana Farmers Coliseum before earning one standings point in a thrilling, 4-3 shootout loss to the Toledo Walleye on Saturday at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. Following the week's action, Indy's record stands at 25-25-4-5 overall this season and with 59 points, the Fuel sit tied with the Wheeling Nailers for fifth place in the ECHL's North Division standings, just one point shy of the fourth-place Cincinnati Cyclones who currently occupy the Division's final playoff spot.
