KGN 1, OTT 1
19:00 Ben Pickell (4) - Tuomas Uronen, Luke McNamara
In the dying moments of the first period it was Ben Pickell who took a pass from Luke McNamara and ripped his fourth of the season past the Ottawa goalie, Collin MacKenzie. A great pass led to a great goal. 1-1, the score after 20 minutes.
2nd Period
KGN 2, OTT 1
18:41 Gage Heyes (2) - Ethan Miedema
After a second period full of chances, the Frontenacs would finally break through courtesy of Gage Heyes. After a great play from Ethan Miedema to steal the puck from a 67's, he and Heyes would finish a two on one to make it 2-1 Frontenacs after two periods.
3rd Period
KGN 3, OTT 1
13:41 Ben Pickell (5) - Tuomas Uronen
Perhaps not the way Ben Pickell drew up his second goal of the game, none the less a pass intended for the blueline bounced off the skate of a 67's defender and into the back of the net. The fifth goal of the season from Pickell would give the Frontenacs a two goal lead with just over 10 minutes left in the third period.
KGN 3, OTT 2
16:44 Luca Pinelli (12)
The 67's would get their fire back cutting the Fronts lead to just one with three minutes left in the third period. Nolan Lalonde played a puck which lead to a turnover and Luca Pinelli would fire the puck into the open net for his 12 goal of the season.
KGN 3, OTT 3
18:53 Will Gerrior (7)
With an empty net at one end, the Ottawa 67's would tie the game at three at the other. A scrum in front of the net led to Will Gerrior jamming his seventh goal of the season past Lalonde. Two goals in the final four minutes of the period would force overtime between the Frontenacs and the 67's Sunday afternoon.
OVERTIME
KGN 4, OTT 3
4:59 Ethan Miedema (8) - Vann Williamson
It was a five minutes full of action at both ends of the ice, but ultimately it was the Frontenacs who grab the extra point on the road. With 0.9 seconds left in the extra frame, Ethan Miedema would bury a rebound for the game winning goal. A Vann Williamson shot from the blueline would be stopped by MacKenzie but the second effort found the back of the net.
With the win, it's the first time the Frontenacs have swept a three in three weekend since April 8-9-10, 2022.
