Frontenacs Acquire Michael Dal Colle from Generals for Robbie Burt and Draft Picks

Kingston - The Kingston Frontenacs have acquired forward Michael Dal Colle from the Oshawa Generals for rookie forward Robbie Burt, a 2nd round selection in 2017 (from Flint), their 3rd round selection in 2018, their 2nd round selection in 2019, and their 3rd round selection in 2022 of the OHL Priority Selection.

"We wish Robbie all the best, he has a bright future ahead of him in the OHL," said General Manager Doug Gilmour.

Dal Colle, a 6'2", 190lbs Woodbridge, Ontario native, was the first round draft pick-, 5th overall, of the New York Islanders. He was a member of the 2015 Memorial Cup-winning Oshawa Generals, with an impressive 42 goals and 51 assist season in 2014-15. In 216 regular season games played in the OHL, Dal Colle has 104 goals, 157 assists for 261 points, a +/- of 46 and 80 penalty minutes. His playoff record includes an impressive point-per-game average, with 18 goals and 38 assists, for 56 points, in 42 OHL playoff games.

The Kingston Frontenacs face their East Division Rival Peterborough Petes at Rogers K-Rock Centre tonight at 7:00 p.m. for their New Year's Day game.
