Wausau, WI - June 23rd, 2011 -Green Bay made a valiant comeback effort on Thursday night against the Woodchucks in Wausau by scoring in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th innings, but a season-high five errors allowed seven unearned runs to come across as the Bullfrogs lost 10-7. The 'Frogs have lost a season-high three games in a row as they finish their longest road trip of the year 2-4.

The 'Frogs and the 'Chucks finally got started after an hour rain delay Thursday evening. In the first inning the Bullfrogs would make three fielding errors to aid five runs by Wisconsin. Bullfrogs' starter Zak Hermans struggled to find control of his fastball in the first inning walking two runners after entering the game with only one walk in his first two starts. Shortstop Alec Mehrten made a throwing and fielding error, while Andy Hunter misplayed a gorundball at third base. Hermans would get only one out after facing eight hitters.

Cameron Dullnig, who's scheduled start on Wednesday was rained out, entered the game and gave up a sacrifice fly for the second out of the inning. Catcher Duncan McAlpine picked fellow catcher Tyler Heineman with a snap throw to first to end the inning. The Woodchucks would tack on another two unearned runs in the fourth inning which had been extended on a two-out fielding error by second baseman Jacob May. Dullnig would give up an RBI double and RBI single after that to put Green Bay down 7-0.

In the fifth inning the Bullfrogs began their comeback. McAlpine picked up the team's first hit of the game with a bunt base hit. He ended up coming around to score on an RBI single from Phillip Ervin. The Woodchucks got that run back in the bottom of the fifth with a solo home run, one of three earned runs all game.

Mitch Haniger and Andy Hunter led the sixth off with a walk and double off the wall respectively. Matt Ozanne had a sac fly in the inning while McAlpine had an RBI single. The Dallas Baptist catcher had a great game both offensively and defensively. He had a pick off and threw out a runner trying to steal second. He also went 3-5 with a double, RBI and two runs scored.

In the seventh, the 'Frogs got an RBI single from Mitch Haniger, his third RBI in two games, to bring the tying runner to the on-deck circle, but he would not get to the plate as Green Bay went to the bottom of the seventh down 8-4. In the bottom of the seventh the 'Chucks pushed across two crucial runs. A one-out error and walk put two runners on that would end up coming around to score, both of which were unearned. Green Bay pushed across another three runs in the eighth, but would go down in the ninth without a hit to fall 10-7
