Frisco Walks Off On Wild Pitch In 10th

Eduardo Paulino's wild pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning scored Davis Stoneburner and gave the RoughRiders a game-one win from Dr Pepper Ballpark Wednesday night.

Renny Osuna's first inning single was his 320th of his RoughRiders' career, surpassing Steve Murphy as the all-time franchise hits leader. The RoughRiders jumped ahead 1-0 in the second on a throwing error by Naturals' starter Jeremy Jeffress that scored Engel Beltre from second.

Mike Bianucci extended the 'Riders lead in the fourth with a lead-off solo blast to left field. The home run was Bianucci's team-leading 27th of the season.

Frisco starter Robbie Ross pitched seven innings and allowed three runs on seven hits. Ross struck out six in the no decision.

'Riders reliever Justin Miller earned his eighth win of the season, which ties him withBen Snyder for the team-lead in wins, after pitching a scoreless tenth inning.

Northwest Arkansas cut into the lead in the fifth on Ryan Eigsti's sacrifice fly to right field that scored Rey Navarro and made it 2-1 Frisco.

After Mario Lisson's two-run homer in the seventh to give the Naturals their first lead of the game, Frisco caught a break in the home half on another error by the Naturals. A dropped catch at first base scored Mitch Hilligoss to tie the game at three.

The run in the bottom of the tenth marked the third inning in which the 'Riders scored without recording a base hit. Northwest Arkansas out hit Frisco 10-3 in the game.

The 'Riders and Naturals face off for game two of this three-game series Thursday night at 7:05 from Dr Pepper Ballpark. Right-hander Neil Ramirez (0-0, 0.00) will toe the rubber for Frisco against left-hander Chris Dwyer (6-9, 5.77) of Northwest Arkansas.
