Friday's American Hockey League (AHL) contest between the Philadelphia Phantoms and the Manitoba Moose will be carried live on Comcast SportsNet, the second of four telecasts scheduled for this 2005-06 season. Flyers radio voice Tim Saunders will call the play-by-play, with Orest Kindrachuk providing color commentary.

In addition, U.S. gymnast Chellsie Memmel will be in attendance at the game to take part in pregame ceremonies and sign autographs on the concourse. Memmel won the 2005 World Championships in Melbourne, Australia in November, making her the first American women's world champion since Shannon Miller in 1994.
