Savannah, Ga.- Extreme rain and subsequent unsafe field conditions has postponed Friday's contest between the Savannah Sand Gnats and the Hickory Crawdads.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader, tomorrow, Saturday, August 2, with game one's first pitch set for 5:05 p.m. The Gnats will send RHP Ricky Knapp (4-6, 4.21) to the mound Friday against the Crawdads.

Tickets purchased for Friday's game will now be rain checks and can be exchanged for tickets to any 2014 regular season game, depending on availability.

Saturday will be St. Joseph's/Candler Community Night. Fans that bring a canned food item for donation to St. Mary's will receive a free general admission ticket to the game. Fans can also stay after the game for a spectacular fireworks show.

Gates to Historic Grayson Stadium open at 4:30 pm. The radio pregame show on News/Talk 630 WBMQ begins at 4:45 pm.
