The Wildcats are coming off their 5th win in a row - an impressive 4-1 victory over the Titan that clinched their 2023 playoff spot. Who will they play in Round 1? Who will have home ice advantage? Who knows. It's all still up in the air and will be settled this month over the next 8 games, including 5 home dates.
Forwards Preston Lounsbury (lower body), Miles Müller (upper body) and Thomas Auger (upper body) are sidelined.
Saint John sit just a point behind Val-d'Or in the race for the final playoff spot. The Foreurs are on a 4-game losing streak so the Sea Dogs can see some light and won't roll over at the Avenir Centre. The Cats hold a 6-2 season series advantage, but the Dogs have won 2 of the last 3 matches, including February 23 at the Den.
