Florence, Kentucky: An afternoon game welcomed 1,433 to Champion Window Field. Florence was looking to match their highest win total, coming last year, and they did just that with a 13-7 victroy over the Redcoats to improve to 31-19.
Mike Galloway had a big day, going 2-4, both of them homeruns, driving in three runs. The homeruns were his 16th and 17th of the season. He wasn't the only one going yard for the Freedom, Darin Kinsolving hit two of his own to improve to six homeruns, he drove in four on the day. Galloway is now hitting .405 and Kinsolving is hitting .356. Kyle Geswein went 2-3 with three runs, but he also pitched two innings in relief, giving up an earned run. Jason Bowlin improved his record to 6-1, going six innings, giving up three runs on four hits, striking out two. His ERA now stands at 3.59.
The Freedom finish up the series tonight at Champion Window Field, first pitch being at 7:05, the Freedom head out on a road trip after tonight's contest.
