Free WHL Web Tv Broadcasts For Cougars Games December 27 & 29

Prince George, BC - Cougars fans will get a belated Christmas present from the Western Hockey League and its streaming internet partner and provider of WHL Web TV, INSINC, this holiday season.

The webcasts for Cougars road games in Kamloops, December 27 and Chilliwack, December 29, will be broadcast online at no charge on WHL Web TV.

In order to access the free WHL Web TV broadcast, fans are asked to visit www.whl.ca and click on the WHL Web TV button. Fans can activate a free account by going to the live game, create an account and enter the promotional code as indicated (whlwebtv). Then enter some personal information and create a username and password. No credit card information is required.

The Cougars play their final two games before the Christmas break, December 18 and 19 against the Kamloops Blazers at CN Centre. On the 18th, fans are encouraged to bring cleaning and office supplies to the game to help support the Prince George SPCA. The second game of the weekend, on the 19th, is the Cougars annual Teddy Bear and Toque Toss game, with all donations going to the Salvation Army and RCMP Victim Services. Prince George Esporta Specialty Cleaners will be collecting new and used boots and shoes and taking them to their location to put through the Esporta clean and sanitizing program. Esporta will then distribute the items to Active Support Against Poverty.
