This is the second of four meetings between the Medicine Hat Tigers and the Regina Pats. The first meeting over a month ago in Regina was a high scoring affair that the Pats won 7-4. The power play was key, scoring 3 times on 5 opportunities with Matt Strueby scoring 2 of the man advantage goals with Jordan Eberle notching the other. Brett Leffler also scored twice while Garrett Mitchell and former Tiger, Cody Carlson scored singles.

Last Action:

The Pats were broadsided by a Kelowna Rocket team on Wednesday night that skated to both 6-0 and 7-1 leads, before cruising to a 9-5 win over the blue and white. Damien Ketlo was pulled halfway through the second after giving up 5 goals on 18 shots, while Dawson Guhle didn't fare much better with 4 goals on 22 shots. Matt Strueby had his first career hat trick in the loss; Dominick Favreau scored his first of the season while Tomas Hricina picked up the other Pats goal.

Tonight is the highlight match-up in the WHL tonight with a pair of Eastern Conference playoff teams battling for position. There is 8 other games in the league tonight, including a game that can be seen on Access 7 tonight with Kamloops at Vancouver, it's a 9:30 puck drop.

New Faces:

The Pats have made a pair of trades the past couple of days with Carter Ashton and Craig Orfino coming from Lethbridge on Wednesday, they will make their Pats debut tonight. Yesterday, another deal sees Cass Mappin, Mitch Spooner and Mikael Jung coming to the Pats, they will make their debut later on the trip

Next Action:

The Pats will take on a pair of former Pats in Linden Rowat and Graham Hood and the rest of the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Saturday night. A 7pm puck drop (8pm Regina time) with a 7:35 pre-game show on 620 CKRM.
