Moose Jaw, SK: After four losses in a row on their current road trip, the Edmonton Oil Kings got off to a slow start in Moose Jaw and collapsed. The Warriors scored a minute and a half in when Honejsek tipped a Kevin Smith shot past Oil Kings goalie Torrie Jung. Moose Jaw made it 2-0 when Joey Kornelson redirected a Hamonic point shot into the net. The Oil Kings Mark Pysyk took a penalty in the aftermath of the goal and it was costly. Another two second period power plays led to another two goals from the Warriors. Hamonic and Honejsek both scored their second goals early in the period to make it 5-0. For the second contest in a row, Jung would be relieved by Cam Lanigan in net. The Oil Kings break the shutout when Michael Burns drove the net, was stopped by Moose Jaw starter Jeff Bosch, but rookie Cam Maclise stuffed home the rebound. It was the Lacombe, AB. native's third goal of the season.
