Fourth of July Weekend Spectacular

RAMAPO, New York - The Rockland Boulders will be hosting their first ever Fourth of July Weekend Spectacular at Provident Bank Park on July 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

Rockland will host the Newark Bears for all three days of this extravagant weekend. It will also be the first time that the rival Bears visit Provident Bank Park.

Saturday, July 2nd, will be a Fireworks Night at the ballpark, as well as the second of eight Home Plate to Your Home games, where fans will have the opportunity to bring home their new best friend from the Hi-Tor Animal Care Center. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m. with one of the highlights being the Parade of Pets on top of the first base dugout.

Sunday, July 3rd, will feature 3-D fireworks after the game presented by Ramsey Auto Group. Come to the ballpark to see the fireworks in a whole different light as the 3-D glasses present a unique and vivid experience for the fans. First pitch will be thrown at 7:05 p.m.

Monday, July 4th, will be the first ever Independence Day Celebration at Provident Bank Park. The game will begin at the special time of 5:05 p.m. Hot dogs will be just $1.00 for Monday afternoon's game. Soda will also be just $1.00. Hot dog and apple pie eating contests will be part of the festivities. Originally slated to start at 7:05p.m., the game time change will result in no fireworks after Monday's game. Thus, any ticket holder planning on attending Monday's game who wants to watch fireworks at Provident Bank Park will be encourage to contact the box office for tickets to Saturday, July 2nd or Sunday, July 3rd compliments of the Rockland Boulders.
