Worcester, Mass. - Worcester Tornadoes' designed hitter Nick Salotti drove in four runs and Chris Colabello collected four hits to help move their club past the Rockland Boulders 11-4 on Thursday night in Can-Am League action.

Colabello started things off for Worcester in the first inning with a three run blast to put the Tornadoes up 3-0. Salotti later followed with a solo shot of his own to put the Worcester up four. Salotti was not done there, as he connected for a three run homer in the bottom of the third off Rockland starter John Muller.

Worcester led 7-0, however the Boulders put up a four-spot in the top of the fifth to cut the deficit to three. Tommy Giles highlighted the frame with a three run home run, his fourth of the season, off Worcester starter Kevin Cooper on a 2-0 count.

The Tornadoes though, added four more late in the contest to secure the 11-4 victory, which is their second win of the series over Rockland.

Muller is charged with his third loss of the year allowing 11 hits and nine runs in 4 2/3 innings of work. Kevin Cooper picked up his second victory of the season striking out seven over six innings of work.

Casey Hodges goes on the hill for Rockland (12-18), as both clubs get set to square off in the series final at 7:05 p.m. at Hitton Insurance Park at Fitton.
