Providence Bruins News Release

PROVIDENCE R.I. - Springfield scored four unanswered goals in the 3rd period to overtake the Providence Bruins.

Seth Griffith put the P-Bruins on the board 2:47 into the first period, when he fought for real estate at the edge of the crease and buried Colton Hargrove's pass across the front of the net. Springfield tied it up towards the end of the first, with Corey Potter finding the back of the net.

Providence looked strong in the second, out shooting the Falcons 13- 8 . Colton Hargrove scored his first professional goal to give the P-Bruins the 2-1 lead. Hargrove streaked down the left wing and buried the perfectly timed Casto cross. Max Talbot was also credited with an assist, his second of the night and fourth as a P-Bruin.

The wheels came off in the third period though, with the Falcons scoring four goals in a row, two of which were empty netters.

The P-Bruins next game is Saturday November 7th at Utica, their next home game is Friday November 13th against the Albany Devils.
