
Four-Run Sixth Inning Sinks Biscuits

MOBILE, Ala. - A four-run sixth inning was the difference as the Biscuits (5-4) lost to the Mobile BayBears (5-4) 5-3 on Saturday afternoon at Hank Aaron Stadium.
The Biscuits started the bottom of the sixth with a 3-1 lead. A sacrifice fly from Justin Green followed by an RBI-single from Jake Lamb tied the game at three. Two batters later, David Peralta drove in two runs with a double to give Mobile a 5-3 lead.
The Biscuits got on the board first with a solo shot from Luke Maile in the second inning. The BayBears came right back with a run in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game.
Montgomery took their second lead of the game in the top of the sixth inning thanks to RBI singles from both Cameron Seitzer and Alejandro Segovia, making it 3-1 Biscuits.
Michael Colla had a stretch of ten hitters retired consecutively but ran into trouble in the sixth to pick up his first loss of the season.
Taylor Motter finished with a his fifth multi-hit game of the season.
The rubber-match is Sunday afternoon at 2:05. LH Grayson Garvin will make the start for the Biscuits while RH A.J. Schugel will be on the hill for Mobile.
