
Four Gamblers Named to the 2004 USHL Prospects/All-Star Roster

(Green Bay, WI) â The United States Hockey League (USHL) announced this past week the roster for the 2004 USHL Prospects / All-Star Game, to be held at the Ice Box on Feb. 3 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The game is sponsored by Royal Bank of Canada, Cardinal Sports Management, Volvo, The Hockey Company, USA Junior Hockey Magazine and Let's Play Hockey.
The Prospects / All-Star Game roster is selected by the USHL in conjunction with the NHL's Central Scouting Service.
Representing the Gamblers at the annual showcase of talent is forwards Sean Garrity, Nate Dey, and Victor Oreskovich, and defenseman Kyle Klubertanz. All four will lace-up the skates for Team World.
Garrity, 18 (7/23/85), who is headed to St. Cloud State University, has tallied five points in his last five games, and in a season cut short due to a bout with mono the North St. Paul, Minnesota native has tallied 11 points in 25 games.
Dey, 18 (2/15/85), who like his teammate Garrity, is also headed to St. Cloud State currently leads all Gamblers rookies in goals (11). The reigning Mr. Hockey in the state of Minnesota has appeared in all 35 games in 2003-04 tallying 17 points.
Oreskovich, 17 (8/15/86), ranks 2nd on the club in scoring with 20 points (5g & 15a). The Oakville, Ontario native, who last season won the Ontario Hockey Association's Top Pro Prospect Award, is headed to the University of Notre Dame.
Klubertanz, 18 (9/23/85) is the lone veteran on the squad to get the nod to the Top Prospects/All-Star Game. The University of Wisconsin recruit, who led all defenseman in scoring at the 2004 Viking Cup tournament in Camrose, Alberta, ranks 2nd among Gambler defenseman in scoring with 14 points (3g & 11a).
Along with the foursome, Gamblers forward Jeff Hazelwood was selected as an Alternate.
