
Foster's two goals power Ducks past Crunch

CINCINNATI, Ohio - Kurtis Foster scored a pair of power-play goals and Frederic Cassivi stopped 32 shots, as the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks edged the Syracuse Crunch, 3-2, Friday at Cincinnati Gardens.
Dustin Penner also scored and Michael Holmqvist had two assists for the Ducks, who improved to 10-0-0-1) in their last 11 home games. Tim Brent assisted on Penner's goal in the second period to extend his point streak to four games.
Brad Moran and Mark Hartigan each had a goal and an assist for Syracuse, which had its three-game winning streak snapped.
Karl Goehring turned aside 25 shots in the loss.
The Ducks and Crunch complete a two-game series tonight at 7:35 p.m. at Cincinnati Gardens.
