Crunch Sign Defenseman Matt Libby to a P.T.O.

Syracuse, NY (February 4, 2005) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed defenseman Matt Libby to a professional tryout contract.

Libby, 26, has appeared in 35 games with the Trenton Titans (ECHL) this season, recording 2 goals, 16 assists and 34 penalty minutes. Libby appeared in five games, recording an assist, with the Crunch during the 2001-02 season. A native of Saco, Maine, Libby appeared in 92 career American Hockey League games with Bridgeport, Syracuse, Saint John and Portland, recording 2 goals, 16 assists and 45 penalty minutes.
