
Crunch Sign Defenseman Matt Libby to a P.T.O.

Syracuse, NY (February 4, 2005) â The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed defenseman Matt Libby to a professional tryout contract.
Libby, 26, has appeared in 35 games with the Trenton Titans (ECHL) this season, recording 2 goals, 16 assists and 34 penalty minutes. Libby appeared in five games, recording an assist, with the Crunch during the 2001-02 season. A native of Saco, Maine, Libby appeared in 92 career American Hockey League games with Bridgeport, Syracuse, Saint John and Portland, recording 2 goals, 16 assists and 45 penalty minutes.
The Crunch hosts San Antonio on Wednesday, February 9. Game time is 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, at the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
