
FORWARD STEVE MOORE RECALLED FROM HERSHEY

DENVER, Colo. - The Colorado Avalanche announced Friday afternoon that the club has recalled forward Steve Moore from its American Hockey League affiliate in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Moore, 23, has notched nine goals, 17 assists, 25 penalty minutes, and an even plus/minus rating through 60 games in his rookie AHL campaign. He has recorded no points in three NHL games played this season. Moore was Colorado's seventh selection (53rd overall) in the 1998 Entry Draft out of Harvard University (ECAC).
He led the Harvard Crimson in scoring three out of four years, and finished his collegiate career with totals of 45g/78a in 122 games. He was voted to the First Team All-Ivy League Team in 1998-99 & 1999-00 and named Ivy League Rookie of the Year and to the ECAC All-Rookie Team for 1997-98.
