IceCats to Hold Charity Jersey Auction to Benefit Worcester City Pools

WORCESTER, MA - This Sunday, to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and raise money for Worcester's Learn to Swim Program, the IceCats will wear jerseys highlighted with shamrock shoulder patches. The holiday sweaters will then be auctioned off at the game to benefit the 'Cats longstanding partners at Worcester City Pools.

In conjunction with the Worcester Telegram & Gazette and Peterson Oil, fans will be able to bid on the IceCats game worn jerseys during the 5:05 PM engagement with the Manchester Monarchs. The winning bidders will be presented with their jerseys, autographed by the player, in a special post game ceremony. A souvenir photograph will also be taken of each winner and their respective player.

At the conclusion of the game, all fans will be able to partake in the giant post-game autograph session featuring the entire Worcester IceCats roster.

The IceCats, Telegram & Gazette and Peterson Oil raised a record breaking $19,000 last season for Worcester's City Pools "Learn to Swim Program."

Tickets for Sunday's 5:05 game are on sale now at all TicketMaster outlets, including the Box Office at Worcester's Centrum Centre.
