Forward Christian Cakebread Commits to University of North Dakota

FARGO, ND -Fargo Force forward Christian Cakebread has committed to University of North Dakota and will begin his college career in the fall of 2015.

Cakebread had several offers to other schools and made his final decision to commit to UND on Sunday and declining all other offers.

The forward from Gilbert, AZ was signed to a tender by the Fargo Force prior to the start of the season and has already made quite the impression, tallying a hat trick at the Fall Classic versus Des Moines and adding another 2 goals during the regular season home opener last Friday at Scheels Arena in Fargo.

Cakebread will join current teammate Cam Johnson at UND along with other former players, goaltender Zane Gothberg (2010-12) and forwards Colten St. Clair (2008-11) and Bryn Chyzyk (2011-12). He is the 8th player on the current Fargo Force roster to commit to play Division 1 hockey.

The Fargo Force are on the road for the next two weekends and will return back to Fargo on Friday, Oct. 11 versus the Des Moines Buccaneers.
