Affiliate Ryan Larkin Commits to Miami (Ohio) University

MUSKEGON, Michigan (September 23rd) - The Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced that affiliate Ryan Larkin has committed to the Miami (Ohio) University Redhawks out of the newly-formed National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) following his junior hockey career.

Larkin, the Clarkston, Michigan native, was the Lumberjacks' 17th-round pick (248th overall) in the 2013 USHL Phase Two Draft and has spent the previous three seasons in the Honeybaked Hockey Program out of Detroit. In the three seasons between the pipes for Honeybaked, Larkin has compiled a record of 21-17-6 to go along with seven shutouts, a 2.24 goals-against average, and a .885 save percentage.

Ryan is also the younger brother to Adam Larkin, who is currently in his first season as a defenseman for the Lumberjacks.

The Lumberjacks will hit the road again this Friday night to Ann Arbor for a 7:00 pm puck drop against the USNTDP Under-17 Team with their Home Opener slated for the following night on Saturday against the Indiana Ice at 7:15 pm.

The exclusive radio home for the Muskegon Lumberjacks all season long is 92.5 FM WLAW "The Outlaw" as Bryan Fongers delivers the call beginning ten minutes prior to puck drop.

Season ticket packages for the 2013-14 season are still on sale for the low price of $225 for adults and $150 for children ages 3-12 for the 30 home games provided next season along with individual tickets.
