Tulsa Talons News Release

The af2 League Office has officially assigned, 6-5, 300 lbs, OL/DL, Roderick Green to the Tulsa Talons for the 2008 Season. Green continues his pro career with the ArenaCup Champions for a second year.

Last season, Green played in 11 of the 16 regular season games, garnering 2 solo tackles. "Having Rod back with us this season is a major boost for our team up front offensively. During the regular season and into the playoffs, Rod was a dominating player and I'm looking forward to much of the same from him this season", said Head Coach Mitch Allner.

Prior to the Talons, he played in the NFLE for the Frankfurt Galaxy, where he and his team went on to win the World Bowl. In 2005, Green spent time with the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League.

Green played football at Arkansas-Pine Bluff and was named to the "All-SWAC First Team," and played in the first Black College All-Star football game.
