FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Georgia Force have announced they will host a food drive on Sunday, June 24, beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Philips Arena before they play the New Orleans VooDoo.
The Georgia Force and the Atlanta Community Food Bank are teaming up to sack hunger! Force fans can do their part in the fight against hunger by participating in the Georgia Force Food Drive, Saturday, June 24 prior to their regular season finale. Non-perishable food items and monetary donations will be collected at all gates at Philips Arena prior to the contest between the Georgia Force and the New Orleans VooDoo. All donations and food items benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank and its efforts to serve 42,000 people in need each week. For every dollar donated, the Atlanta Community Food Bank provides $6.20 worth of groceries for those in need.
