Lakeland, FL - Lakeland Flying Tigers right-handed starter A.J. Ladwig was named Florida State League (FSL) Pitcher of the Week today. The FSL selection was for the period of April 7-17.

Ladwig went 2-0 while appearing in two games and did not allow an earned run. In 10 innings pitched he allowed only 5 hits, no walks and struck out 8 batters. This is Ladwig's third professional season. He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 11th round of the June 2014 draft while attending Wichita State University where he was a first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection.
