
Marauders Start Red Hot, Cruise to 11-5 Victory

Jupiter, FL - The Marauders (6-7) blitzed the Palm Beach Cardinals (8-5) with a seven run first inning and rolled to an 11-5 win at Roger Dean Stadium on Tuesday night. The first seven batters of the game reached against Jack Flaherty (L, 0-1) and all seven eventually scored.
RHP Colten Brewer (W, 1-2) was the beneficiary of the offensive outburst. After going 0-2 despite a 2.70 ERA, Brewer re- ceived plenty of run support to garner his first win. The righty struck out five and allowed only one earned run.
RF Michael Suchy led the way for the Marauders offensively. Suchy drove in three runs in the first with a bases loaded dou- ble to left center. In the second inning he brought home a run on a fielder's choice ground out. In the fourth he tripled and scored. He finished the game with three runs scored and four RBIs.
RHP Junior Lopez and RHP Henry Hirsch each pitched two innings in relief. Hirsch struck out three over two innings.
