April 19, 2016 - Florida State League (FSL1)
Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release
FORT MYERS, Fla. - In a tale which appears to be straight from your favorite wrestling show, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine will not appear at Hammond Stadium on Saturday, April 23 due to unspecified differences between Valentine and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, his former tag team champion partner.
While "The Hammer" will no longer be making an appearance, perhaps because of "The Barber's" latest hair cut, fear not wrestling fans! The Miracle have contracted WWE Hall of Famer Bushwacker Luke to step up to the challenge and fill in for "The Hammer." Bushwacker Luke was a member of the popular Bushwackers that delighted fans with comedic activity like licking, marching and wild arm motions.
Bushwacker Luke will join "The Beefcake" at Hammond Stadium to sign autographs, greet fans, pose for pictures and throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Miracle box office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at (239) 768-4210 or order online at www.miraclebaseball.com.
It's also a $2 Saturday. Fans can enjoy $2 12 oz. domestic drafts from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m.
